Mookie Weisbrod is an experienced animator with a diverse background in various companies and roles. Mookie started working at Industrial Light & Magic in 2001, providing quality animations for films and commercials. Then, from 2002 to 2008, they worked at Midway Games as the Lead Animator, where they supervised a team and created unique and detailed characters. In 2008, Weisbrod joined Bioware as a Senior Animator before moving to Retro Studios in 2012, where they currently hold the position of Senior Lead Animator. Additionally, they served as an Animation Mentor at Frame by Frame, Online Animation School from 2011 to 2014 and as an Adjunct Professor at Austin Community College from 2011 to 2019. Weisbrod has also shared their expertise as a Guest Speaker at the Game Developers Conference in 2003, teaching a class on character rigging and animation.

Mookie Weisbrod obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Computer Animation from Ringling College of Art and Design. This education was pursued from 1997 to 2001.
