Madeleine MacGillivray has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Madeleine currently works as a Communications Specialist for CiCLO® Textiles. In 2019, they joined Seeding Sovereignty as a Climate and Plastics Campaign Coordinator, and also served as a Climate Science and Policy Fellow. Prior to that, they worked at Retrievr as a Partnerships and Communications Coordinator. Madeleine has also worked as a Fashion Model at Role Models Management llc, Sustainability Coordinator and Operations Assistant at Suzie Kondi, and Podcast Cohost and Content Creator at Better World. In addition, they have experience as an Environmental Educator and Outreach Coordinator for Neil Young's European Tour and as an Intern at San Francisco Baykeeper. In 2007, they founded a national youth campaign called Superheroes Needed, which focused on addressing climate change and water scarcity in Africa. Overall, Madeleine has demonstrated a passion for sustainability, environmental advocacy, and communication in their work.
Madeleine MacGillivray's education history starts in 2014 when they enrolled at UC Santa Barbara. Madeleine pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies and completed their studies in 2016.
In 2016, Madeleine MacGillivray continued their education at Barnard College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Science and Policy. Madeleine completed their studies in 2018.
