Franz Kucher currently serves as the VP of Finance at RetInSight, a position held since November 2024. Previously, Kucher worked at Takeda from March 2019 to October 2024 as the GMS Finance Site Lead in Orth, overseeing all financial aspects of the Plant Orth in collaboration with GMS Finance in Vienna. Kucher also has a long tenure at Shire, from November 2004 to March 2019, fulfilling roles such as R&D Finance Integration Lead and Senior Manager Global R&D Finance, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, and integration in research and development. Prior consulting experience includes self-employment from 2001 to 2004, providing budgeting, controlling, and reporting solutions for medium-sized companies across various industries, and a position at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young Consulting from 2000 to 2001, where Kucher consulted for medium-sized companies in sectors such as telecom and automotive. Kucher holds an MBA in Professional MBA Controlling from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) and a Magister rer. soc. oec. in Business Administration from the same institution.
