Michael Bjornberg FAIA is a highly experienced professional in architecture and historic preservation, currently serving as Co Chair for the Capital Campaign Board at Rethos since September 2023. In addition to a long-standing role as a Member of the Board of Trustees at the American Swedish Institute, Michael holds advisory positions with the Capitol Area Architectural and Planning Board and the American Institute of Architects' Historic Resources Committee. As a Senior Project Manager at LEO A DALY and an Assistant Adjunct Professor at the University of Minnesota, Michael contributes to both project management and academic instruction in preservation and urban planning. Previous roles include Principal at PVN Works and Senior Project Manager at HGA, along with leadership experiences as Board Chair at the Preservation Alliance of Minnesota and Senior Project Manager at Ellerbe Becket. Michael earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Minnesota between 1973 and 1979.
