Carlos Mera has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. Carlos is currently employed at Retargetly as a Senior Backend Engineer, beginning in June 2023. Prior to this, Carlos worked at Swapps, where they held the role of Team Technical Leader from April 2021 to May 2023, and as a Software Engineer from December 2015 to April 2021. Before their time at Swapps, Carlos worked as a Web Developer at CaliCasa from January 2014 to November 2015. Carlos also briefly served as a Blogger at CurioTek in September and October of 2014.

Carlos Mera obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali, where they studied from 2017 to 2022. Carlos also obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in January 2023.
