Juliane Horton has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Juliane currently serves as the Chief People Officer (Interim) at RestoringVision, a global nonprofit dedicated to providing vision services and eyeglasses to individuals in need. Prior to this, they were a Chief People Officer Consultant/Advisor for start-ups and high-growth companies, where they provided HR expertise and guidance to founders and leadership teams. Juliane has also been a member of Chief, a private network aimed at empowering women in leadership positions, and the Chief People Officer at DataCamp, an edtech startup.
Before their roles in the startup world, Juliane held positions at SITO, a mobile Adtech company, and Shutterstock, a global provider of licensed media content. Juliane also worked at the National Basketball Association as a Senior Manager of Recruiting and at Marsh & McLennan Companies as a Senior Analyst in Global Human Resources. Earlier in their career, Juliane was a Human Resources Consultant at AFS, a non-profit organization, while obtaining their MBA, and a Human Resources Generalist at e-STEEL, an internet start-up.
Juliane Horton's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management - Human Resources from Pace University - Lubin School of Business, a Bachelor of Science in Business - Marketing from Montclair State University, and studies in Art/ Fashion from American InterContinental University in Los Angeles, California. Juliane also pursued studies in Image Consulting at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
