Dan Holtmeyer currently serves as the Managing Editor at Resource Recycling, Inc., overseeing publications focused on various aspects of recycling including e-scrap and plastics. Holtmeyer has a diverse background in journalism, previously working as a Reporter covering local and national recycling news, and as a Content Writer for the Northwest Arkansas Council, where important regional communications were crafted. As the Founder of Ozark Roots Native Plants, Seeds & Foods, Holtmeyer is dedicated to creating a native plant nursery that emphasizes climate resilience in the Ozarks. Additional experience includes photography services through Dan Holtmeyer Photography, editorial roles at The New Territory magazine, and various reporting positions with the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. Holtmeyer holds a Master of Science in Geography from the University of Arkansas and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
