Amanda McDonough is a seasoned motivational speaker and resilience trainer, actively delivering inspiring talks for a variety of organizations, schools, and events since January 2015. Amanda has collaborated with esteemed entities such as TEDx and the US Airforce, showcasing an impactful presence in the speaking industry. As a published author of "Ready to be Heard: How I Lost My Hearing and Found My Voice," Amanda continues to engage audiences with personal narratives and insights. An accomplished actor, Amanda has been a member of SAG-AFTRA since 1995 and is currently represented by the KMR Diversity Team, with notable performances in productions like Deaf West Theatre's "Our Town." Amanda also contributed as a writer for the CBS Pipeline Challenge and delivered a TEDx speech titled "Becoming Your Own Hero" in 2023. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on International Business and Marketing from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, Amanda combines educational background with professional expertise to make a meaningful impact.
