Thomas Fitzgerald is a seasoned expert in electro-magnetic remote sensing with extensive experience in research and business development. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at Resonant Sciences LLC since May 2021, Thomas focuses on advancing remote sensing technologies and enhancing effective medium properties through polarimetric electromagnetic scatter research. Prior roles include Distinguished Research Scientist at the University of Dayton Research Institute and Group Leader for Advanced Remote Sensing, where responsibilities included managing R&D in the scattering of light by engineered materials. Thomas has also contributed significantly to the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology as a PhD student and held leadership positions at ATK and Wyle Integrated Science and Engineering Group. Thomas holds a Master’s degree in Electro-Optics from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan University.
