Steve further held the role of Process Manager Cortez Operation from March 2012 to October 2015, responsible for the oxide mill, heap leach, electrical maintenance, and process technical services.
Their earlier roles at Barrick Gold Corporation include Roaster Superintendent, Operations Superintendent Autoclave and Roaster, Autoclave Superintendent, Maintenance General Supervisor, Process Chief Metallurgist, Supervisor Process Control, Operations Shift Supervisor, and Autoclave Metallurgist. These positions allowed him to gain extensive experience in managing and optimizing processing operations, leading projects, and implementing control systems.
Furthermore, Steve briefly served as an Executive Committee Alternate Director at Barrick Middle East Pty Limite from August 2018 to December 2018. Steve started their career as a Metallurgical Engineer at BHP Copper and worked there from May 1996 to July 1999.
