Chris McTaggart is a highly experienced professional in building performance and energy efficiency, currently serving as President and Technical Director of Building Efficiency Resources since 2010. Their expertise includes quality assurance and technical support for building performance professionals, as well as training RESNET HERS Raters. In 2023, Chris co-founded Building Efficiency Resources Ltd., focusing on the Canadian market. As the owner of Dream Development & Energy Technology since 2018, Chris provides innovative building performance solutions in Southeast Michigan. Additionally, Chris is a member of the Board of Directors for RESNET and PEOPLE FOR PALMER PARK, contributing to various initiatives and committees. Chris is engaged with Passive House Institute US as a Phius Verifier Trainer and has a background in residential green building from Southface. A graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and Anthropology, Chris brings a diverse skill set to the industry.
