Johanna K. is a highly skilled research associate specializing in remote sensing and geoinformation methods for wildlife rescue strategies at Technische Universität München since January 2021. Johanna recently completed a research stay as a visiting research associate at the University of Zurich's Biostatistics Department in December 2023. Previous experience includes roles as an earth observation analyst at EarthWave and a student intern at various organizations, including the Landesbetrieb Geoinformation und Vermessung and the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V. Johanna holds a Master’s degree in Earth Observation & Geoinformation Management from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from The University of Bonn, alongside international education at University College Cork.
