Sebastiaan De Rode is a highly experienced freelance cellist with an extensive background in professional orchestras, including the Residentie Orchestra, Nederlands Philharmonisch Orchestra, Metropole Orkest, and Orkest van het Oosten. In addition to a successful performance career, Sebastiaan serves as a cellist and allround manager for the Aeolus Cello Quartet, which bridges classical and contemporary music styles. Furthermore, Sebastiaan co-owned the Zeilschool Nieuwe Diep and held various leadership roles, including general manager at the Lagos strijkkwartet and group leader at the Manchester Music Festival. Educational achievements include degrees from esteemed institutions such as Hochschule der Kunste Berlin and Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
