Hani ElHaffar has worked in the software industry since 2000. Hani began their career at Nortel as a Software Engineer, where they developed tools for the CDMA community using TCL/TK and PERL, and provided training and chalk talks on Mobility, NMIS, TTF, and CATT. In 2007, they joined Cisco as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on the architecture and high-level design of major components and frameworks. Hani also served as Automation Lead, responsible for the Cisco Call Manager universe. In 2014, they returned to Cisco as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed, developed, and helped architect the next generation Cisco call platform in the Cloud. In 2017, they joined ExamSoft as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed and developed the Hotspot feature in Phoenix, the next generation Examsoft exam testing platform in the Cloud. In 2018, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at USAA. In 2019, they joined ITEA Technologies as a Lead Software Engineer, where they were one of three original employees and reported directly to the CTO. Hani started at ground zero and built a demoable product in six months. Currently, they are working as Software Architect and Senior Software Engineer at Resi Media, LLC (formerly Living As One).
Hani ElHaffar has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer & Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, as well as a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Engineering from Purdue University.
