Miriam Hartmann

Project Manager And Principal Investigator at Research Triangle Institute

Miriam Hartmann has extensive work experience in the field of public health and research. Miriam is currently a PhD candidate at Karolinska Institutet, starting in September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Manager and Principal Investigator at RTI International since February 2015. Miriam also had a fellowship at Building Research in Interdisciplinary Gender and HIV through the Social Sciences (BRIDGES) from February 2020 to September 2021. Miriam has been actively involved in various roles at RTI International, including as a Public Health Analyst for the Women's Global Health Imperative from October 2011 to August 2014. Miriam has also worked as a Technical Officer and Research Assistant at FHI 360, a Program Officer at FHI - Urban Health Initiative (UHI) India, and a Graduate Research Assistant at MEASURE Evaluation. Additionally, Miriam has interned at Save the Children and worked as a Communications and Project Associate at AED.

Miriam Hartmann received their Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2005. Miriam further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Public Health degree with a specialization in Maternal Child Health from the same university between 2007 and 2009.
