Joohyun (Joanne) Yoon is an accomplished Assistant Research Scientist in the Department of Experimental Therapeutics at the New York State Psychiatric Institute, affiliated with Columbia Medical Center, since September 2021. With a strong background in clinical research, Joohyun has previously held positions at institutions such as SNUH Bundang Hospital, where work focused on mood disorders, and at the New York State Psychiatric Institute’s Center of Prevention and Evaluation. Joohyun obtained a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from New York University, and is an active member of The Phi Beta Kappa Society. Additional research experience includes positions at various esteemed academic and clinical settings, demonstrating a dedicated commitment to the field of psychology.
