Chao Chao currently serves as an Associate Editor for Waste Management and as the Social Media Editor for Separation and Purification Technology at Elsevier, while also editing the Journal of Environmental Chemical Engineering. In addition, Chao Chao holds the position of Chair at the Finnish Thermal Energy Research Association and works as an Associate Professor at Tampere University, as well as an Academy Research Fellow for the Academy of Finland. Previous roles include Associate Professor at Sun Yat-sen University and Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. Chao Chao began academic training at Hohai University and completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Engineering Technology at Nanyang Technological University.
