Ernest D. serves as the Head of Global Cyber Security, Compliance and Privacy at Rescale since June 2020, overseeing product and enterprise security alongside privacy and compliance functions. Ernest D. is also the co-host of The Big Compute Podcast at Big Compute since September 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Product Manager at D2iQ, Head of Security Engineering at Cisco, and Head of Cloud Services Engineering at Mirantis, where responsibilities encompassed security compliance and scalable cloud architecture design. Ernest D. has also held positions at Eucalyptus Systems, SecureTek Group, UCSF, and Bexar Metropolitan Water District, demonstrating a robust background in cloud computing and systems engineering. Educational qualifications include a BA and an MS in Computer Information Systems from St. Mary’s University.
