Taek Keun Lyu has worked in the engineering field since 2013. Taek Keun began their career as a Summer Internship at ETRI. In 2016, they joined Korea Aerospace Industries as a Senior System Engineer. In 2018, they moved to Garmin as an Avionics System Engineer. Currently, they are employed at RePurpose Energy as a Junior Test Engineer, where they assist with lithium-ion battery inspection, testing, and reassembly.

Taek Keun Lyu has an extensive educational background. Taek Keun began their academic career in 2010 at Chungnam National University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering. Taek Keun then attended Stony Brook University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering in 2013. Taek Keun continued their studies at Stony Brook, earning a Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering in 2016. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of California, Davis, which they are expected to complete in 2025.
