Elvar Thormar is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and entrepreneurship. As CPO and co-founder of Standby Deposits since October 2021, Elvar has also served as CEO and CSO of Reon since January 2011, where Elvar was a key architect in shaping the company's vision. Additionally, Elvar holds board positions with Reon Ventures and Jökulá, a digital agency focused on enhancing user experience. Other notable roles include Chairman of Koikoi, co-founder of Eris, and previous board memberships with Konvolut.io, Rofar Technology ehf., and RT ehf. Elvar’s technical expertise is underscored by co-founding Haelo, Inc. and a strong educational background with a Master’s Degree from DTU and a Bachelor of Science from Reykjavik University.
