Sam Cummins is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer and team lead at RentalMatics since February 2019, Sam previously worked at IBM as a Software Developer from September 2015 to February 2019 and completed an internship with IBM's Extreme Blue program in 2014. Earlier experience includes a summer internship at Aspire Technology Limited, focusing on testing and development of Android OEM software that optimized application traffic and battery consumption using Java. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from UCD (2010-2015) and a Postgraduate Degree in UX Design from Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology (2020-2022).
