Whitney Foster has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Whitney started their career at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, where they worked as a Software Engineer and Developer, specializing in real-time in-flight route planning systems for military aircraft. Whitney also served as an Integration Engineer, managing the integration of software components for a Department of Defense R&D distributed system. Additionally, they worked as a System Administrator, handling network management and administration of various platforms.

After their time at Lockheed Martin, Whitney joined AT&T as a Database Administrator and Web Developer. Whitney developed a web-based rule data management tool and authored software for release baseline management. Whitney later became a Lead Developer and Telecom Subject Matter Expert, leading a team and conducting requirements analysis for a network information planning system.

Subsequently, Whitney joined IBM Global Services as an IT Team Lead. Whitney led teams of system engineers and software developers, coordinated development and production activities, and fostered relationships with project managers. Whitney also served as a Directorate Process Mentor and provided mentoring and training in software development processes.

Whitney later returned to AT&T, where they worked as a Business Analyst and Requirements Lead, Architect. Whitney defined strategic roadmaps and led requirements gathering and analysis for various wireless projects.

Most recently, Whitney joined RentPath as a Manager, Dev Ops & Developer Experience. Whitney previously held the role of Engineering Pipeline and Release Manager. Before that, they served as a Quality Assurance Manager and had responsibilities for managing the .NET Quality Assurance test team.

Overall, Whitney has a strong background in software development, project management, and leadership roles, with experience in various industries such as aerospace, telecommunications, and technology services.

Whitney Foster pursued their education beginning in 1984 at Carnegie Mellon University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Math / Computer Science in 1989. Whitney then went on to attend the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1993 to 1997, completing a Master of Science degree in Computer Science.
