Sallie Spain has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Sallie began their career in 1994 as an Accredited Buyer's Agent and New Home Specialist at New Homes America. In this role, they were responsible for contract writing, negotiating agreements, and conducting on-location research of builders. Sallie worked at New Homes America until 2009.

In 2002, Sallie established their own company, S Spain Graphics, where they worked as the owner.

In 2010, they joined Davidson and Company as a Project Coordinator and worked there until 2012.

Since 2013, Sallie has been working at Rent. Sallie started as a Fulfillment Support and later transitioned to the role of ILS Implementation Analyst in June 2018.

Sallie Spain attended DeVry University from 2008 to 2009, where they earned an Associates degree in Web Graphic Design. Sallie also obtained an additional Associates degree in Web Graphic Design from DeVry during the same period. In terms of certifications, Sallie completed the "Tips for Working Remotely" course at LinkedIn in September 2022 and the "Thinking Creatively" course at LinkedIn in July 2022.
