Katie Demuth is an experienced tourism and marketing professional currently serving as the Tourism Sales Manager at Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority since July 2021. Previously, Katie held the position of Tourism and Marketing Manager at Virginia City Tourism Commission from March 2015 to July 2021. An early career included roles such as Account Coordinator at RAD Strategies Inc., Event Manager at Liquid Blue Events, LLC, Financial Service Representative at Sierra Pacific Federal Credit Union, and New Accounts Representative at First Independent Bank of Nevada. Katie holds an Associate's degree in Business from Truckee Meadows Community College and is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, with foundational education from Yerington High School.
