Project Engineer at Renewable Energy Systems

Utsav Poudel (E.I.T) has extensive experience in project engineering and civil engineering. Utsav worked as a Project Engineer at Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc. from May 2011 to an unspecified date. In this role, they managed various projects including a 150 MW wind energy project, a 300 MW transmission line project, and a 30 MW solar project. Utsav was responsible for procurement, reviewing project plans, implementing QA/QC processes, making adjustments to plans, consulting with project stakeholders, attending meetings, recommending solutions, and implementing construction and safety practices. Utsav gained significant technical knowledge in solar products and contributed to the successful completion of the second-largest photovoltaic solar project in the United States.

Prior to that, Utsav worked as a Project Engineer at Sterling Engineering and Design Group from 2007 to 2008. Utsav assisted with civil engineering projects, reviewing shop drawings, designing buildings, drafting plans using AUTOCAD LT, and responding to client and contractor queries.

Before joining Sterling Engineering, Utsav worked as a Civil Engineer at Dywidag-Dragados-CWE (Joint Venture Contractors) from 2003 to 2006. In this role, they supervised the execution of desanding caverns and power tunnels, including excavation through drilling/blasting and mechanical methods.

Utsav Poudel completed their Bachelors in Civil Engineering from Tribhuvan University. Following that, they pursued a Masters degree in Civil Engineering (General) from Lamar University, which they completed between the years 2009 and 2010.
