Senior Condition Monitoring And Technical Performance Engineer at Renewable Energy Systems

Christopher Warnock has a diverse work experience in the field of wind energy systems. Christopher started their career as a Graduate Energy Engineer at Green Energy Partners in August 2011 and worked there until September 2012. Christopher then joined the University of Strathclyde in October 2012 as a PhD Student with the Centre for Doctoral Training in Wind Energy Systems. Their research focused on the detailed dynamic modelling of wind turbine drivetrains and the effects of transient events on their components. Christopher completed their PhD in May 2017. Following that, they joined RES as a Reliability Engineer in April 2017 and was promoted to Senior Reliability Engineer in June 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Condition Monitoring and Technical Performance Engineer at RES since June 2021.

Christopher Warnock obtained their BEng (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Christopher pursued further education and completed an MSc with Distinction in Energy at Heriot-Watt University from 2010 to 2011.
