Bobby Matinpour is a seasoned executive in the electronics industry, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Sales & Marketing Officer at Renesas Electronics since March 2019, where responsibilities also include overseeing corporate vertical sales. Prior to this role, Bobby held various positions, including Business Technology Consultant and Vice President at multiple companies, such as Texas Instruments and Epson. This extensive experience includes strategic roles at National Semiconductor, where expertise spanned RF power, wireless infrastructure, and timing solutions. Bobby co-founded VT Silicon, Inc. and contributed as RF Design Lead at RF Solutions, showcasing a strong background in RF engineering since starting as an RF Engineer at Ericsson. Bobby holds both a PhD and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and Virginia Tech, respectively.
