Sven Kirsimäe has worked in the software engineering industry since 2003. Sven began their career as a Software Engineer Specialist at the University of Tartu, where they designed and developed a web-based four-tier distributed architecture User Management System. From 2005 to 2010, they worked as a Software Engineer for Playtech Mobile Portfolio, developing software for feature phones and early smartphones. In 2007, they co-founded Mobile Monday Estonia, a networking event to bring together, promote and improve the mobile industry locally. From 2010 to 2013, they were the Head of Mobile Development Department at Reach-U, where they built and managed a sustainable, cross-functional and capable software development team. From 2013 to 2018, they worked at Pipedrive, first as a Senior Mobile Software Engineer and then as a Mobile Engineering Team Lead and Engineering Manager, Mobile teams. From 2018 to 2021, they were at Salto Network as Product Engineering • R&D • Data. Sven is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Rendin.

Sven Kirsimäe obtained their Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Tartu in 2003, and their Master of Science in Information Technology from the same university in 2009.
