Gretchen Paul currently serves as the Beginning School Director at Renbrook School since August 2023, overseeing the division for the youngest students. Prior to this role, Gretchen held the position of Early Childhood Principal at Colegio Americano de Torreón from August 2021 to June 2023. Gretchen's career also includes significant experience at the American School of Paris, where responsibilities included serving as Early Childhood Team Leader and Elementary School Teacher from 2014 to August 2021. Earlier roles include teaching at District of Columbia Public Schools from 2010 to 2014 and serving as a Special Education Teacher at The Kingsbury Center from June 2006 to June 2009. Academically, Gretchen Paul holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Lehigh University College of Education (2019-2020), a Master’s in Elementary Education from The George Washington University (2009-2010), and a Bachelor’s in International Affairs, European History, and German Literature from The George Washington University (2002-2006).
