Rachel Liberatore, PhD, is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in gene transfer technology aimed at preventing and treating diseases. Currently, Rachel serves as President and Chief Scientific Officer at RenBio, a position held since January 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing research and development efforts. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Research Scientist at RenBio, where efforts focused on optimizing antibody design and delivery, and as a postdoctoral fellow at the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center, where research tackled retroviral pathogenesis, particularly concerning murine leukemia virus and HIV-1. Rachel earned a PhD in Cellular, Molecular and Biomedical Studies from Columbia University and an AB in Molecular Biology from Princeton University.
