Emanoel Derta is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in the automotive industry. Currently serving as Design Director at Dacia Design Studio Bucharest for Renault Group since December 2023, Emanoel previously held the position of Vice President of Design at XPENG Motors from June 2021 to June 2023, and Director of Design at GREAT WALL MOTOR COMPANY LIMITED between September 2018 and May 2021. Early career milestones include crafting designs at Lynk & Co and serving as an Exterior Designer at Porsche. Emanoel's freelance endeavors began in 2008, working with clients such as JAC, Fiat, and Zeppelin productions, and included roles at the JAC Italy Design Center and Inovodesign, where significant contributions to projects like the Fiat Idea 5Terre were made. Emanoel holds a 3-year diploma in Transportation Design from Istituto Europeo di Design and a Master’s degree in Transportation Design from Universidad CEU San Pablo.
