Mariel Stotts serves as the Payroll & Well-being Manager at Removery since October 2022, while also co-owning Heartwood Farm since January 2019. Previous roles include Senior Human Resources Manager and various other HR positions at Bunkhouse from May 2016 to October 2022, where responsibilities encompassed payroll, benefits administration, talent management, and employee relations. At Kiva, Mariel functioned as a Volunteer Translator from April 2015 to January 2018, translating borrower stories from Spanish to English. Mariel also served in the Peace Corps as an Environmental Education Promoter from August 2013 to October 2015, focusing on community education and project management. Earlier experience includes a role as a Visual Arts Educator with the Austin Independent School District from January 2006 to June 2013, where Mariel co-authored art curriculum and managed a classroom of up to 30 students. Mariel holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The University of Texas at Austin and a Human Resources Management Certificate.
