Felipe Mota has a range of experience in software engineering and development roles. Felipe began their career in 2010 as a Software Developer at the Group of Computer Networks, Software Engineering and Systems, where they worked on projects with companies like Sony, Samsung, and LG, focusing on Android development and customization.
In 2013, Felipe joined i-enquire as an Android/iOS Developer, working on maintenance and development of mobile applications and collaborating on analysis and design processes.
In 2014, they joined Weelo/Junto, a startup in Brazil, as an iOS Developer, where they applied Lean Startup concepts to validate the business and worked on maintenance, UI/UX development, and features using native Objective-C. Felipe also handled integration with AWS and XMPP ejabberd server for chat functionalities.
In 2015, Felipe worked at Instituto Atlântico as an iOS Developer.
From 2019 to 2023, Felipe worked as a Software Engineer at Seven Tech Group, where they were a technical leader and backend developer for the multipurpose financial platform Trakti. Felipe worked on financial projects for various regions, including Brasil, Europe, Africa, and Asia, focusing on distributed computing, high-load requirements, high availability, and asynchronous messaging.
Most recently, Felipe joined RemoteLock in 2022 as a Software Engineer, developing solutions that impact door opens globally through distributed systems, Bluetooth Low Energy, and REST/gRPC APIs in Ruby. Felipe works on enabling customers and partners to manage their devices remotely.
Felipe Mota started their education in 2004 at the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Ceará, where they pursued a Telecommunications Technical degree. During this time, their field of study focused on Telecommunications Technology/Technician. Felipe completed this program in 2006.
In 2005, Felipe continued their education at the same institution, Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Ceará. Felipe enrolled in the Telematic Technologist program and specialized in Computer Software Engineering. Felipe successfully completed this program in 2008, concluding their formal education history.
