Holly Alvarado is an experienced journalist specializing in music, events, and entertainment. Currently serving as a Festivals & Events Reporter for Southern California News Group since October 2022, Holly also contributes to several prominent outlets including REMEZCLA, HipHopDX, Live Nation Entertainment, Consequence, DIG MAG, The Luna Collective, VNYL, TRASH Magazine, and ALTANGELES. Holly’s work encompasses writing and interviewing artists, producing reviews, curating playlists, and providing editorial content focused on music, particularly within the Southern California area. Holly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from California State University, Long Beach, and an Associate of Arts in Journalism from Mt. San Antonio College.
