Mahmoud Ewaisha is a Computer Vision Engineer with extensive experience in various applications of computer vision and machine learning. Currently employed at Rembrand since January 2023, Mahmoud focuses on automating realistic virtual product insertion in videos. Prior to this role, Mahmoud contributed to Tahaluf Al Emarat Technical Solutions by developing real-time face detection and recognition systems from low-quality CCTV footage and establishing a data collection pipeline for face recognition model training. At Anovate.ai, Mahmoud worked on multi-camera multi-object tracking for drive-thrus and contactless product checkout solutions. Experience at Orange Labs Egypt involved building natural language processing solutions for IT support ticket summarization and sentiment analysis, along with data pipeline development. Earlier, as a Deep Learning Researcher at Valeo, Mahmoud developed multitask models for autonomous driving and worked on synthetic Lidar data generation. Mahmoud holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Ain Shams University, completed in 2019.
