Linda Deskins serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Farmington Downtown Development Authority since March 2021 and has been self-employed since March 2018, following a long tenure at General Motors starting in September 1994. At General Motors, Linda Deskins has held various senior HR management roles, including Sr. HR Manager for IT, where responsibilities included providing global Human Resource support and overseeing the transition of IT to an insourced model. Additional roles encompassed overseeing expatriate policy development, global vendor management, and other HR initiatives. Linda Deskins holds an MSA in Human Resources from Central Michigan University and a BA in Business Administration from Madonna University.
