Megan Connor Murphy

Megan Connor Murphy has a wide range of work experience in marketing communications and public relations. Megan is currently the Director of Marketing & Communications at REMADE Institute, a non-profit public-private partnership focused on advancing U.S. manufacturing. Prior to this, Megan founded Canalway Communications, a marketing communications firm specializing in public relations strategy. Megan also served as the Vice President of Business Development & Public Affairs at Tipping Point Communications. Earlier in their career, Megan held roles such as Director of Public Relations and Social Media at Flynn, Vice President of Public Affairs and Director of Economic Development Group at Dixon Schwabl Advertising, and Business Reporter & Political Columnist at Rochester Business Journal. Megan also has experience as a reporter, editor, and legislative aide, and began their career as a Staff Assistant in the United States Senate.

Megan Connor Murphy holds a Master's degree in Journalism with a specialization in Magazine Journalism from Syracuse University. Megan also earned a Bachelor's degree in International Studies with a focus on East Asia (China) and Western Europe, along with a minor in Art History from American University. Additionally, they have studied Ancient Roman History and Art History, specifically Ancient Roman, Renaissance, and Baroque Art, at The American University of Rome. Megan also has a background in Mass Communication and Media Studies from SUNY Brockport.
