Perla Peralta has been working in the software engineering field since 2018. Perla began their career as a Software Developer Internship at Grupo Avatar PUCP, where they developed a Virtual Reality game for the Samsung Gear VR Helmet on the Unity game Engine. In 2019, they took on the role of Academic Advisor at Crack The Code Perú. In 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer Trainee at Quantum Talent, where they developed, maintained, and improved the main web application in the Products Team. Perla also took an active part in planning activities for new and exciting features. That same year, they also worked as a Virtual Reality Software Engineer at Red de EnergÃa del Perú, where they worked on the analysis, design and development for a Virtual Reality Simulator for High-Risk Operators in an Electrical Substation. Currently, they are working as a Senior Frontend Engineer at ATHENAWORKS and as a Software Engineer at Relo Metrics.
Perla Peralta has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, which they obtained between 2016 and 2021. In 2019, they participated in the Students Leaders for the 21st Century program, in collaboration with UNMSM, at Harvard University. Perla also attended a short term program at Yamagata University in the same year.
