Alfonso Esteves has worked as a Senior Java Developer since 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Software Developer and Consultant in Business Intelligence at Quanam. During their time there, they created a web application that used IBM's cognitive APIs to match employees and employers. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Globant as a Senior Java Developer for two clients in the USA: Sony and Quantcast. During their time there, they were the Technical Lead in a team that developed and maintained applications and APIs, and performed a migration of the authentication API. Since 2021, they have worked as a Senior Java Developer for Relo Metrics, where their tasks involve maintaining and developing features on the backend of the client facing applications. Alfonso also had the opportunity to design and create the AWS infrastructure of one of their epics, and implement its code.

Alfonso Esteves is currently in their third year of studying Systems Engineering at Universidad ORT Uruguay. In 2021, they obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In 2014, they obtained a Cambridge English Level 2 Certificate in ESOL International from Cambridge Assessment English.
