Mara Mamery has a diverse work experience that spans across various roles and industries. Mara began their career as a Social Media Marketing Intern at Spot on Hold in 2014. In 2015, they interned at JLL as a Research Intern and also gained experience in marketing strategy and planning as an intern at Visa. Mara continued their journey at Visa and held multiple roles from 2015 to 2022. Mara started off as a Marketing Strategy & Planning LAC Intern and later became an Associate Financial Analyst in Financial Planning & Analysis. In 2017, they were promoted to the role of a Financial Analyst in Investment Planning & Analytics. Mara's experience at Visa also included their position as a Principal Product Manager, where they led end-to-end product management for consumer debit and prepaid payment products in Latin America and the Caribbean. Mara also supported the next generation of portfolio management activities and conducted performance-driven analysis to enhance product lifecycle. In 2022, Mara joined Gemini as a Product Manager to support the US launch of the Gemini Crypto Rewards Credit Card and led the product strategy and development for a new Debit Card product. Currently, they are a Senior Product Manager at Relief App, responsible for leading the end-to-end product management of an early-stage consumer fintech startup. Mara collaborates with engineering and design teams, develops product strategy, conducts user research, and evaluates the competitive landscape to advise the product roadmap.
Mara Mamery started their education at Cardinal Gibbons High School in FL from 2009 to 2013, where they completed their high school education. Mara then went on to attend the University of Miami Herbert Business School from 2013 to 2017, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Marketing. In 2016, they had the opportunity to study abroad at Universidad Pontificia Comillas, focusing on Business Administration, Management, and Operations for that duration.
