Juliet Schwartz

Sr. Principal Engineer at Relief Cardiovascular

Juliet Schwartz is a seasoned engineer specializing in cardiovascular medical devices. Currently serving as Sr. Principal Engineer at Relief Cardiovascular since July 2022, Juliet leads the implant and delivery system team in developing a novel smart implant aimed at decongesting heart failure patients. Prior to this role, Juliet was a Principal Engineer at Edwards Lifesciences from September 2017 to June 2022, where responsibilities included clinical development and implementation of the EVOQUE Eos Mitral Replacement System. Juliet's experience also encompasses R&D engineering for the same system, where leadership in the design and testing of a transfemoral mitral valve replacement was demonstrated. Earlier career experience with Beckman Coulter Diagnostics involved biomedical product design and optimization, while an internship at Medtronic focused on prosthetic heart valve tissue characterization. Juliet holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
