Dustin Canada has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Dustin started their career in the USMC as an EA-6B Aircraft Mechanic/QA/AD Instructor, where they obtained a MOS of 6018 and conducted inspections to support daily flight operations. After leaving the military in 2011, they worked as a Mechanic 1 at Sikorsky Aerospace Maintenance, specializing in scheduled maintenance and aircraft inspections. In 2013, Dustin joined Lockheed Martin as an F-35 Crew Chief, responsible for ensuring the functionality and safety of the aircraft. Dustin later became the Lead Flight Test Control Engineer, maintaining a secret security clearance and overseeing engineering access to the aircraft. In 2018, they transitioned to Booz Allen Hamilton as an F-35 Prognostic and Health Management Analyst, utilizing their expertise to analyze aircraft data. Most recently, Dustin joined Reliance Test & Technology, LLC as a Configuration Management Analyst in November 2019.

- In 2012, they also attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and completed a Bachelor's degree in Aviation technical management, which they started in 2012 and finished in 2014.
- In 2011, Dustin briefly attended Pensacola State College, where they earned an Associate's degree in General Studies.
