Viren Shah is a seasoned database administrator and architect with extensive experience in SQL Server and Informix. Currently serving as Sr. Database Administrator at Reliance Steel & Aluminum since February 2009, Viren Shah specializes in designing, architecting, and administering SQL Server environments, specifically versions 2008 R2, 2012, and 2014, within virtual machines connected to EMC storage. Additionally, Viren Shah supports MS Dynamics 2012 administration on SQL Server 2014. Previously, Viren Shah held the position of Data Management Team Lead at Internap Network Services from November 2006 to May 2008, and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the M.S. University of Baroda, India, earned between 1982 and 1985.
