Michael Lusito

Chief People and Culture Officer at Reliance Medical Centers

Michael Lusito has extensive work experience in the field of human resources, talent acquisition, and leadership consulting. Michael is currently the Chief People and Culture Officer at Reliance Medical Centers, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to this role, they were the Vice-President of People and Culture at the same company from September 2020 to June 2021.

Before joining Reliance Medical Centers, Michael founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of The Michael Joseph Company, LLC. In this role, they provided customized quality human resources, talent acquisition, and leadership consulting services and solutions to organizations. Michael had been with the company since July 2020.

From 2017 to 2020, Michael worked at Wyndham Destinations as the Director of Talent Acquisition for Hospitality Leadership, Owner Services, and RCI Exchanges. Prior to that, they held the position of Regional Director of Human Resources for Florida and the Caribbean from September 2011 to July 2017.

Earlier in their career, Michael held various roles at Marriott Vacation Club International and Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporation / The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club. These roles included Senior Director of Sales Operations and Talent Development from July 2006 to September 2011, Director of Owner Marketing from February 2005 to July 2006, Corporate/Regional Director of Human Resources Operations from August 2000 to February 2005, and Area Director of Human Resources from October 1996 to August 2000.

Throughout their career, Michael has been involved in a wide range of areas, including organization development and effectiveness, change management, leadership and associate training and development, performance management, employee relations strategies, recruitment process transformation, HR department efficiencies, talent planning, compensation and rewards, project management, and HR systems implementation.

Michael Lusito has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Valdosta State University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Certified Emergenetics® Facilitator from Emergenetics International, a Certified FranklinCovey® Leading Engaged Teams Facilitator from FranklinCovey, a Certified Gallup Strengths Performance Coach from Gallup, and a Certified Profilor® 360 Feedback Coach from Personnel Decisions International.
