Tarun Bunkar began their work experience in 2015 as a System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services. Tarun held this position until April 2019. In April 2019, they joined Relevance Lab as a Senior Software Engineer, and remains in this role currently.

Tarun Bunkar has a diverse education history. Tarun started their academic journey at Atomic Energy Central School from 1996 to 2008, where they focused on science subjects. After completing their schooling, Tarun pursued a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communication from Arya College of Engg. & Information Technology, Jaipur, from 2008 to 2012. Tarun then advanced their education by obtaining a Master's degree in VLSI Design from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, where they studied from 2013 to 2015. In addition to their academic qualifications, Tarun earned a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Tata Consultancy Services in April 2016.
