Daniel Homer is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as Security Engineer III at Akuna Capital since October 2023. Previously, Daniel held the position of Blockchain Security Engineer at Coinbase, focusing on blockchain and smart contract auditing as well as on-chain monitoring and incident response from January 2022 to January 2023. Daniel also contributed to the University of Toronto as an Assistant Instructor in Cybersecurity from December 2020 to March 2022, and served as a Security Analyst at Hydro One, specializing in cybersecurity architecture, governance, and risk consulting, from October 2019 to January 2022. Daniel's earlier experience includes roles as a Security Engineer at EWA-Canada. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Computer Science in Computer and Internet Security, with a minor in Philosophy, from Carleton University, completing the degree in 2017.
