Amanda Long has a diverse work history, beginning with their role as Fifth Dimension Coordinator at Appalachian State University in 2005. In 2008, they took on the role of Lead Teacher at Winston Salem/Forsyth County Schools. In 2011, they joined Accentuate Staffing as a Technical Recruiter. In 2014, they moved to Bandwidth.com as a Sr. Technical Recruiter. In 2016, they joined Republic Wireless as a Sr. Marketing Specialist, Pop-Up Shop Manager, and Training and Documentation Specialist. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Relay as a Customer Success Manager and Marketing Manager.

Amanda Long attended Appalachian State University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education.
