Gene Parcellano is a seasoned UX Engineering Lead at Relativity, contributing to multiple verticals with a strong emphasis on web accessibility and frontend best practices since May 2019. As a core member of Relativity’s Aero Design System, Gene previously held roles as Senior Product Designer and Product Designer, leading efforts in establishing design systems and user interfaces for key applications. Gene also served as an Adjunct Professor in Digital Media Design at the University of Illinois Chicago in late 2019. Prior experience includes UI/UX development at LogicGate and full-stack design and front-end engineering at Trading Technologies, along with interaction design at VOKAL Interactive. Gene's career began at Morningstar, Inc., where leadership roles in design and development emphasized modern web practices. Gene holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Illinois Chicago.
