Tal Friedman has a diverse range of work experience. Tal started their career as an Assistant Teacher at Spirit of Math Schools Inc. from September 2010 to June 2012. Tal then worked as an Undergraduate Research Intern at the University of Toronto, where they focused on rare disease genetics and variant harmfulness evaluation from May 2014 to April 2015. Tal also had a role as a Research Student at The Hospital for Sick Children, where they developed machine learning methods for computational biology in the context of non-mendelian diseases from May 2015 to August 2016.

Tal further pursued their academic career as a PhD Student at UCLA starting September 2016, specializing in an undisclosed field. During their time at UCLA, they gained experience and knowledge in their field until September 2021.

In 2018, Tal also gained research experience as a Research Intern at the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence (AI2), working on undisclosed projects from June to September 2018.

In 2020, they had the opportunity to be a Software Engineer Intern at Facebook, from June to September.

From November 2021 to March 2023, Tal worked as a Research Scientist at Meta, focusing on undisclosed research projects.

Currently, Tal is employed as a Software Engineer at RelationalAI, starting in April 2023.

Tal Friedman completed their education at Thornhill Secondary School. After that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Statistics at the University of Toronto, graduating in 2016. Later on, they enrolled at UCLA, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Science in 2021.
