Pete Vilter has a strong background in software engineering and computer science. Pete is currently working as a Computer Scientist at RelationalAI, where they have developed memory observability tools for the Julia programming language. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer at Bubble, where they played a key role in migrating their system to a new framework, ensuring consistency and correctness.

Pete also has experience at Cockroach Labs, where they served as the first Tech Lead of the Cockroach Cloud team, overseeing the construction of Cockroach's hosted service.
